After nine days of winter break, Paris Saint-Germain players return to training this Tuesday at the club’s Poissy campus. Between five and six players are expected to be absent, although some injured players are still set to report in to assess their condition with the medical staff.

Training resumes at PSG as the 2025 calendar year draws to a close. Luis Enrique’s squad has been called in for a 5:00 PM session at the Campus PSG this Tuesday, beginning preparations for the upcoming Paris derby against Paris FC, scheduled for Sunday evening as part of Ligue 1 Matchday 17.

Hakimi and Mbaye Absent Due to AFCON Duties

Achraf Hakimi will not be part of the group, having made his long-awaited return to action with Morocco on Monday night against Zambia at the Africa Cup of Nations — 55 days after suffering a left ankle injury. Ibrahim Mbaye is also away on international duty and will face Benin later this evening with Senegal (8:00 PM CET).

Lee, Safonov, Ndjantou Injured — Boly Could Return

Before the winter break, PSG suffered a series of injuries involving four players, including two sustained during the Intercontinental Cup final against Flamengo.

  • Lee Kang-in is sidelined with a muscle injury to his left thigh and is expected to be out “for several weeks,” according to the club’s medical update.
  • Matvey Safonov, the hero of the Intercontinental Cup final, is dealing with a fracture in his left hand and is not expected back until mid-January.
  • Ndjantou also remains unavailable.
  • Boly, however, could return to group training, pending final medical clearance.

PSG will continue to monitor the situation closely as they build toward the first competitive fixture of 2026.
