Following PSG’s scoreless draw away at Bilbao, manager Luis Enrique expressed clear frustration when speaking to Canal+. He lamented the points dropped, knowing the team will now have to make up for them elsewhere in the competition.

Luis Enrique, what lesson do you take from this 0–0?

“What I can say is that it was a tight match, a very difficult one, especially in the first half. But I think we deserved the win — we created very clear chances and we could have won this game.”

Before the match, you warned everyone about San Mamés, and we saw that especially in the first half.

“Of course, it was important. I think we approached the match well, we started well, but with a lot of difficulties. You could see their high pressing, and it was tough. We thought that in the second half they would lose a bit of rhythm, and we took advantage of that to create real chances, but in the end, we couldn’t win.”

With everything that has happened since the start of the season, is the team’s current level normal to you?

“Normal for a European champion. With such a particular start to the season, with not all the players available yet. I think we’re in a very good moment, we have the right mentality, and I feel confident. This result is a shame because the group is tight, and we’re going to need a lot of points. I hope we can win at least one more match.”
