As a fitting conclusion to an extraordinary 2025, Paris Saint-Germain collected seven new trophies on Sunday night at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai — a ceremony co-founded by none other than super-agent Jorge Mendes.
After being honored at the Ballon d’Or, Golden Boy and FIFA The Best ceremonies earlier in the year, PSG once again dominated the spotlight during the 16th edition of the Globe Soccer Awards, held in the United Arab Emirates. Ironically, Mendes himself — co-founder of the event — was named Agent of the Year for the 13th time in 16 editions.
But the real star of the night was PSG.
Seven awards, one club: PSG crowned Men’s Club of the Year
Paris Saint-Germain walked away with seven trophies, including the prestigious Men’s Club of the Year 2025 award.
- Ousmane Dembélé won Men’s Player of the Year
- Vitinha was named Best Midfielder
- Désiré Doué received the Emerging Player of the Year award
- Luis Enrique was crowned Best Coach
- Nasser Al-Khelaïfi won Best President
- Luis Campos was named Best Sporting Director
While Dembélé claimed the main individual prize, the Best Forward award went to Lamine Yamal.
A strong PSG presence — except for Luis Enrique
PSG were heavily represented in Dubai, with Dembélé, Vitinha, Doué, Luis Campos and Nasser Al-Khelaïfi all attending the ceremony in person.
The only notable absentee was Luis Enrique, who remains famously uninterested in individual accolades and appeared to be enjoying his holiday break instead.
Reactions from PSG’s award winners
Luis Campos
“This is not a personal trophy, it’s the trophy of a top team. We play football and we are very happy with this new philosophy at the club. I want to thank my wife Paula, my daughters, and of course my dear president. Thank you for this opportunity and the trust you show every day. I also want to thank our incredible coach and our incredible players. We work very hard, and that was the key to this amazing season.”
Désiré Doué
“First of all, I want to thank the Globe Soccer Awards organization for inviting me. It’s a great honor to be here on this stage. I want to thank my family, who are here tonight — that’s the most important thing for me. The education you gave me is the greatest gift of my life. I feel proud, grateful, and I’m living my dream. I’m the happiest kid in the world.”
“I also want to thank my teammates, including Ousmane and Vitinha who are here tonight. Without you, this wouldn’t have been possible. We had an incredible season together. Thanks to the coach, the staff, our sporting director Luis Campos — congratulations to him — and of course our president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi. I’m just happy to play football every day, and I know hard work and dedication will take me to the top.”
Vitinha
“It’s a pleasure to be here and to receive this award. It means a lot to me. I want to thank the Globe Soccer organization and everyone at PSG — the president, our coach, my teammates — who were all essential. I couldn’t have won this without them.”
“I also want to thank my national team, my agent Jorge, who has been very important in my journey, and especially my family and my wife, who is here tonight. My two daughters are the sunshine of my life. This is a real honor.”
Nasser Al-Khelaïfi
“It’s an honor to be here with all these incredible people — legends, coaches, presidents, even a tennis player like Novak Djokovic. This award is not just for the president. It’s for the club, the sporting director, our incredible coach — the best in the world — and our amazing players.”
“We have stars, but they always work for the team. This trophy is also for our supporters and for the staff behind the scenes — more than 600 employees. Thank you to everyone, to my family and children who are here tonight, and especially to our supporters who believe in us and stand by us in victory and defeat.”
Ousmane Dembélé
“Good evening everyone. Sorry, my English isn’t great, so I’ll speak French (laughs). First of all, I want to thank everyone who voted for me, the PSG team, the staff, the president — who was exceptional and came to get me in Barcelona — and the sporting director Luis Enrique… uh sorry, Luis Campos (laughs).”
“I’m very happy to win these individual trophies, even though I always say the collective comes first. I also want to thank my family and my two best friends who are here: Moustapha Diatta and Dayot Upamecano. I’m enjoying every moment of this year 2025. I’ve won almost all the individual trophies, and honestly — I’m living my best life.”
