Recently acquired by QSI, Belgian club KAS Eupen is set to begin a new phase of collaboration with Paris Saint-Germain — and a young PSG player could arrive as early as the upcoming winter transfer window.

Previously owned by the Aspire Zone Foundation, KAS Eupen has officially been taken over by QSI, PSG’s majority shareholder, which also holds stakes in Portuguese side Braga. As part of this transition, former PSG recruitment staff member Pasquale Sensibile has been appointed sporting director of the Belgian club, currently sitting fifth in Belgium’s second division.

Speaking at his first press conference in Belgium on Wednesday, Sensibile outlined QSI’s long-term vision for Eupen:

“This commitment goes beyond this season. The clear objective is to bring the club to the first division — as quickly as possible. Whether that happens this season or later, we will see. QSI wants to build an international network, and Eupen is the first step.”

A PSG Youth Player Heading to Eupen in January?

Asked about potential cooperation between PSG and Eupen within this new international network, Sensibile confirmed that collaboration is part of the plan:

“We will work together wherever it makes sense and wherever it helps us progress.”

He then directly addressed the possibility of a PSG youngster joining Eupen in the near future:

“It is possible that a young PSG player could join us in January.”

Such a move would align with QSI’s strategy of creating a multi-club pathway, offering promising PSG talents valuable first-team experience while strengthening Eupen’s push toward promotion.
