When you love Christmas lights and Paris Saint-Germain, sometimes the only logical thing to do is combine both. That’s exactly what Aydin, a lifelong PSG supporter from Arnouville in the Val-d’Oise, decided to do this year — and the result has gone viral.

A season-ticket holder at the Parc des Princes since 2006 and a passionate fan of Christmas decorations, Aydin chose an obvious theme for 2025. To celebrate PSG’s historic Champions League triumph, he transformed the exterior of his home into a red, blue and white spectacle, crowned with a golden star at its center.

“It’s the decoration I’ve always dreamed of doing,” he told Le Parisien. “I was just waiting for the right moment. I’ve wanted to do it for years, but there were too many disappointments. PSG is my whole life. It’s a huge source of pride for me. I’ve lived through so many emotions with this club — the hardest moments and the most glorious ones. They’ve stressed me out, but they’ve also made me dream.”

A House That Stopped the Neighborhood

Over the past few days, Aydin’s illuminated home hasn’t gone unnoticed. Videos of the display have spread rapidly on social media, racking up hundreds of thousands of views. Curious passers-by now stop in front of the house to take photos, while others show their appreciation by honking as they drive past.

Mindful of his neighbors, the PSG fan makes sure to switch everything off by 1 a.m.

“A lot of people honk, but some people need to sleep too,” he explained.

Although he could have unveiled the display as soon as PSG lifted the Champions League trophy at the end of May, Aydin chose to wait.

“I told myself I’d save it for Christmas. It’s such an important holiday. I wanted to keep that magical feeling — just like the club’s slogan.”

A machinist for the RATP and a familiar figure in the neighborhood, Aydin has been decorating his home every year since 2015. This time, though, he’s given Arnouville a little taste of Parisian football magic — and turned his street into a festive PSG landmark.
