On the eve of the Intercontinental Cup final between Paris Saint-Germain and Flamengo, FIFA unveiled the kits that will be worn by both teams on Wednesday in Doha. And it comes as welcome news for PSG: the European champions will play in their home kit, a shirt that has brought them success in major finals throughout 2025.

PSG have a chance to become only the third club in history to complete a sextuple, following Pep Guardiola’s Barcelona in 2009 and Hansi Flick’s Bayern Munich in 2020. To do so, they will need to overcome Flamengo, winners of the Copa Libertadores, with kick-off scheduled for 18:00 (France time).

Home colors for PSG in Doha

In images and videos shared by FIFA over the past hours, PSG captain Marquinhos appeared alongside Flamengo captain Bruno Henrique, wearing PSG’s 2025/26 home shirt. As the team designated “administratively” at home for this final, PSG had priority in choosing their kit and opted to stick with their traditional colors.

Flamengo, who could have worn their white away kit, also chose their red-and-black home strip, setting the stage for a visually striking final.

A shirt that has delivered in 2025

PSG have already contested five finals in 2025, winning four of them:

  • Trophée des Champions vs Monaco
  • Coupe de France vs Reims
  • UEFA Champions League vs Inter Milan
  • UEFA Super Cup vs Tottenham

The only defeat came in the Club World Cup final against Chelsea on July 13, when PSG were officially the away team and played in their white kit — the same shirt they also wore in a friendly against Flamengo at the Parc des Princes back in 1991.

Against the Brazilian side this time, PSG return to their home jersey, a familiar sight in their most successful finals of the year.

As in the Champions League this season, PSG will also wear the starred version of their home kit, already used in European matches and during the Super Cup win against Tottenham in Udine.

Probable PSG starting XI vs Flamengo

Luis Enrique is expected to make a few adjustments compared to the match in Metz, with Lucas Chevalier likely to return in goal for the final.

Probable PSG XI:

Chevalier – Zaïre-Emery, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes – Neves, Vitinha, Ruiz – Barcola, Doué, Kvaratskhelia
